NetSuite Direct Debit Module

  • The NetSuite Direct Debit Module is an integrated suite of modules and tools that enable businesses to process customer payments via direct debit. It allows businesses to securely accept payments from customers, manage their customer payment data, and automate their payment processes. The module provides a secure platform for businesses to manage customer payment data, create payment plans, set up automated payment schedules, and more. The module is also easy to set up and use, with a range of customization options available. The module also integrates with other NetSuite modules, allowing businesses to manage their payments more efficiently.

    1. Set up Direct Debit in NetSuite: NetSuite offers a Direct Debit module that allows customers to pay their invoices directly from their bank account. The module must be set up in order to use it. This includes setting up the Direct Debit gateway and providing a merchant account.

    2. Add Direct Debit as a Payment Method: Once the module is set up, customers can add Direct Debit as a payment method on their invoices. This allows them to select Direct Debit when making payments.

    3. Collect Bank Account Details: Customers can then provide their bank account details for payments to be taken from. This includes their name, bank name, account number, and sort code.

    4. Generate Direct Debit Payments: Once the details have been collected, payments can be generated. This includes setting up the payment schedule, the amount to be taken, and the date of the first payment.

    5. Send Direct Debit to Banks: The payments are then sent to the customers’ banks for processing. This is handled by the Direct Debit gateway set up in the module.

     6. Receive Payment Notifications: The customers will receive notifications when the payments are processed and when they have been successfully taken. This allows the customer to keep track of their payments and ensure they are up-to-date with their invoices.
